Mutter Paneer Masala: A delicious combination of soft Paneer and healthy green peas in a mild spicy Tomato based Gravy

Ingredients for Muter Paneer Masala Recipe:
- 250 Gram Paneer
- 1 Cup Green Peas
- 2 Large Onion
- 1 full bunch of Garlic
- 1 Inch Ginger
- 2 Green Chilly chopped
- 2 Medium Size Tomato
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 and ½ teaspoon red chili
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder/haldi
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- 1 Bay Leaf
- ½ teaspoon cumin/ jeera powder
- 1 black cardamom
- 3-4 black paper seeds
- 1 cinnamon / dalchini
- Fresh coriander leaf finely chopped
- Oil 3 tablespoon
- Salt as per taste
Preparation – Mutter Paneer Masala:
- Grind 1 onion and make paste also finely chopped 1 onion .
- Make paste of ginger garlic
- Keep Paneer into hot water about 10 min to make it soft (Do not boil it)
- Make the equal cube of Paneer and keep aside
- Keep mutter also into hot water separately
- Make puree of 1 Tomato and 1 finely chopped
- Mix well coriander powder, red chili, turmeric powder/haldi, garam masala , cumin/ jeera powder with water in small bowl
Method of cooking:
- Keep oil in deep frying pan on medium heat.
- After heating of oil put Bay Leaf, black cardamom, black paper seeds, cinnamon / dalchini
- Mix chopped onion into the pan and stir till brown
- Add onion paste and stir till get brown well
- Then Add ginger garlic paste into the pan and mix well stir till it gets brown then add chopped green chili (Green Chili give the flavor in masala )
- Then Add mixed wet masala into the pan and stir in slow heat for about 10 min
- Add Mutter and chopped tomato and cook for about 5 min
- Take oil in another pan in medium heat and shallow fry paneer cube ( Do not make it more brown to avoid hard cube)
- Add Paneer in masala put salt as per taste and mix well. Keep it in low heat about 5 min and add water as per required thickness of gravy, and boil it about 5 to 7 min then switch off the heat.
Garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaf and serve with Roti , Naan or Chapati
