How to make Tomato Onion Masala – Indian Vegetarian Recipe

Ingredients:
- Tomato – 4 Medium Size ( 2 Grated and 2 finely chopped)
- Onion – 2 Medium Size ( 1 Grated and 1 finely chopped)
- Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 Teaspoon
- Green Chili – 2 Finely chopped
- Cooking Oil – 2 Tablespoon
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon red chili
- 1 Bay Leaf
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder/haldi
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- Salt as per taste
Method of cooking Tomato Onion Masala Recipe
- Take oil in deep frying pan on medium heat.
- Add Bay Leaf and cumin seeds and Cook until it crackle
- Add finely chopped onion and cook it till get brown
- Add grated onion and ginger garlic paste into the pan cover it and cook for about 8-10min on medium heat. (Stir it in between to avoid burn)
- Add coriander powder, red chili, turmeric powder/haldi, garam masala with small water stir it for some time
- Add chopped green chili and coriander leaf (It will give the flavor )
- Add Tomato puree and cook for 5 min the add chopped tomato.
- Cook the gravy for 5 to 7 min and switch off the flame
- Garnish with coriander leaf and serve with Chapati or Roti
